Trinidad Gonzales

Trinidad “Trini” Gonzales, of Hobbs, passed into the arms of angels on September 8, 2021 in El Paso, Texas. She was born in San Antonio, Texas to Angel Gutierrez and Consuelo Flores on August 28, 1958. A funeral service in her honor will be held 1pm on Tuesday, September 21 at Griffin Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park.

Trini loved to be with her family anywhere but at home. Traveling, near or far, was how she loved to spend her time, and if she could travel with family that was even better. She loved time spent with her grandchildren, watching them grow and learn delighted her. Her loving and compassionate heart will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.

Trini is preceded in passing by her husband, Henry Gonzales and her stepfather Reggie Bowen.

Left to treasure the memories she left behind are her children, Daniel (Korina) Gonzales, Chris (Kristi) Gonzales, and Deborah (Lance Smith) Gonzales, 12 grandchildren; Dezjah, Romeo, Nathan, Kaelyn, D’marco, Ridley, Camdon, Leah, Kashis, Cooper, Audri, Baby Daniel, and 1 great granddaughter; Alena. She is also survived by her parents, Angel Gutierrez and Consuelo Bowen, and brothers Steve, Alfred, and John Gutierrez. As well as numerous extended family and friends.
