Velda Raulston

Velda Fay Raulston passed away Saturday, August 12th, 2017 with her family by her side at the age of 73.
Velda was born in Gallup, New Mexico on April 6th, 1944 to Weldon Gibson and Ernestine Rehard.
On June 17, 1961, she married the love of her life Ronnie Raulston and was married for 48 years until his passing in 2009.
She had a great love for her grandchildren, a passion for sewing and a love of flowers, but her greatest joy was the family she had by her side.
She is proceeded by her loving husband Ronnie Raulston, and grandson Dillon Raulston.
She is survived by her 5 children: Cynthia Dobbs (Danny) of Hobbs, David Raulston (Shelly) of Hobbs, Beverly Tyree of Oklahoma, Bobby Raulston (Leah) of Hobbs, and Troy Raulston (Lisa) of Hobbs,
her sister Kathy Garrison of Oklahoma, 19 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be missed by her family.
Visitation will be held with family present from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Monday, August 14th at Griffin Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday August 15th 2017 at 10:00 am at the Church of the Firstborn 2022 N. Robert Ln, Hobbs, with interment to follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park.
