Victor Castillo

Victor Orlando Castillo suddenly and unexpectedly passed away on March 10, 2023. He was born June 20, 1990, in Hobbs, NM. His parents are Kenneth Lopez, Marie “Lisa” Lopez and Phillip Castillo.

Victor was a loving father, husband, son, uncle, grandson and nephew. He was a very caring and giving soul. He was definitely a family man. He was the best big brother any of his brothers could have asked for. He loved coming home to “his girls” at the end of his day. He loved spending time with his family and getting together at his parents or grandparents. He also enjoyed fishing with his Uncle Manuel.

Victor is survived by his wife Ashlee Castillo, daughter Renesme Castillo; his parents Kenny and Lisa Lopez and Phillip Castillo; grandparents Victor and Mary Calderon, Uncle Roy and Dolores Calderon, Uncle Manuel and Yvonne “Bonnie” Contreras. Brothers Kenneth Jr and Brittnie Lopez, Jeremy and Bascilia Lopez, Nephews Christopher “Bebe”, Jeremiah “Bro”, J. Rob, Jace, Jonah and Julius, a niece Arya whom he all adored so much and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Corina “Ama” and Lupe “Apa” Zamora, his cousin Robert Nathan, Uncle Bobby “Bob” Calderon.
