Virgil Lynch

Virgil Lynch, 79 of Hobbs, passed away Thursday, November 23, 2017 in Hobbs. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Monday, November 27, 2017 at Griffin Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Prairie Haven Memorial Park. Visitation will be Sunday the 26th from 4:00-6:00 pm at Griffin Funeral Home.

Virgil was born on March 10, 1938 in San Diego, CA to Fred and Minnie Lynch. He married Sandy Irvin on July 21, 1962 and they celebrated over 55 wonderful years of marriage. Virgil loved to fish and hunt but his true love was being with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters; 2 brothers; son Jimmy Lynch and great granddaughter Makayla Lynn Munguia.

Survivors include his wife Sandy Irvin of the home; daughters Cassandra "Crickett" Landrum, Tonya Lynch and Lonnie Lynch all of Hobbs; sister, Virginia Marsh; 7 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
