Yolanda Vasquez

Yolanda Jaquez Vasquez, was born on July 18, 1962 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Trinidad Ponce Jaquez and Ricarda Jaquez. “Yoli” as she was known, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2022 in Hobbs, New Mexico surrounded by her loving family. Yoli was preceded in death by her parents and husband of 27 Years, Merced Vasquez. Yoli was a devoted women to her family and God. She loved going to the casino and spending time with her grandchildren. She was very friendly and loved making new friends. Left to cherish her memory are her sons: Eric Jaquez and Arturo Vasquez; daughters: Araceli Jaquez, Melissa J. Vasquez, Melinda Ruiz and Marisol Jaquez; brothers: Julio Jaquez, Abram Jaquez, Trinidad Bejar, Miguel Jaquez and Saul Jaquez; sisters: Maria Jaquez and Nancy Jaquez; and 16 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm- 7:00 pm, Wednesday, May 04, 2022 and 10:00 am-7:00 pm Thursday, May 05, 2022 with a Rosary to begin at 6:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 am, Friday, May 06, 2022 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park. Pallbearers to serve will be Eric Jaquez, Jaime Jaquez, Angel Ruiz, Damian Navarro, Raymond Rodriguez, Adrian Lopez, Michael Montes and Isael Lozano. Services entrusted to Griffin Funeral Home.
