Araceli Quiroga

Araceli Reyes Quiroga best known to her friends and family as Sally, 49, gained her wings to heaven on September 8, 2021 in Oklahoma City after a courageous two week fight with the COVID virus. She was born November 11, 1971 in El Paso, Texas to Moises and Gloria Reyes. She resided in Hobbs, New Mexico. Sally retired from being a manager at Sally’s Beauty Supply after working there many years and that’s how she met a lot of people that later became her friends and loved her dearly. Sally was the beloved wife amd happily married to Oscar Quiroga whom she met in junior High School then later married on June of 2004. They were married for 15 years before her passing. She was a devoted mother to her two daughters, Malali Quiroga and Miriama Quiroga (fiancé Trey Nelson) and stepson Jay Quiroga. Loving sister to her siblings: Alma Romero, Junior Reyes, Morgan Reyes and Morris Reyes. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren whom she loved dearly: Zacharias Romeo Quiroga, Julias Levi Quiroga, Brooklyn Kay Nelson, Brayden Nelson, Jayden Quiroga,  Amaya Quiroga, Anaya Quiroga, Kayden Quiroga and Hayden Quiroga.

Besides spending time with her family, she loved to sing and dance. Sally could listen to music and sing all day long. She was a bright happy energetic person until she developed her illness then the virus. She liked to knit and crochet. Sally had a contagious laugh that everyone loved. She would help anyone that needed help, no questions asked nor hesitation. She had a heart of gold. She is now gone to be with our loved ones that have passed in heaven but will remain in all of her loved one’s heart forever. Until we meet again Sally “that girl”
