Cynthia Delao

Cynthia Delao, born Nov. 20, 1974 to Sergio Sr. and Janie DeLeon in Fort Morgan, Colorado, was called home on May 27, 2021. She was a devout believer in the Catholic faith and is now in a better place. She could bring a smile to your face, lift you up when you were down or brighten a room with hers. Cynthia loved the outdoors, music, flowers, good times and jokes with family and friends. She had a sense of humor and enjoyed a good laugh and touched the hearts of many people. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, mother and grandmother. She was very delightful and caring she had an outstanding personality and a very charming heart some may have seen her as family and some seen her as a friend but Cynthia was one of those who helped you unconditionally and would always be there when needed she left behind so many and was loved by a lot.

She was preceded in death by her loving sister Michelle Deleon and grandson Jacob Lewis.
Cynthia is survived by her loving parents, grandchildren and numerous family members including her 6 wonderful children and their spouses: Sara (Scooter) Van Dusen of Oklahoma, Beatrise (Nathaniel) of Pampa, TX., Cindy Delao (Carlos), Jose D Delao, Kayla De Leon, Maria (Anthony) Lewis of Hobbs NM. She also raised her sisters 2 kids Marissa Ramirez of Hobbs and Selena (Oso) Leonard of Arizona. She was a  loving sister to 10 siblings; Sergio Jr (Nancy) Deleon, Anthony Deleon, Maylene Deleon, Jessica (Mark) Garcia, Rosa Franco, Felix Franco all of Hobbs NM, John Franco, Manuel (Judy) Franco of Las Cruces NM, Jorge Franco of Lubbock TX and Joe Franco of Kansas.

Viewing from 1pm-7pm on Mon. June 7, 2021 and services are to be held at 12pm, Tuesday June 8, 2021 at Griffin Funeral Home. Interment will be followed at Prairie Haven Memorial Park. She will be forever loved and deeply missed.
