She was best known for her amazing voice and her love for music. She loved to sing Mariachi Music and throughout her years she played in many places and also recorded a few CD’s. Mama Elda was also known as the best cook where her and her husband started La Paloma Mexican Restaurant in Pecos, Tx and then later introduced their amazing authentic Mexican food in Hobbs. She also had a burrito truck where she served her famous brisket burritos. Mama Elda loved a crowd. She loved being the center of attention and loved to make her family laugh. She was competitive and loved to play card games with the family. Mama Elda loved nothing more than spending time with her children, grandchildren, and family.
