Juanita Sosa

Juanita M. Sosa, of Denver City, entered heaven on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at the age of 98. She was born in Fort Hancock, TX on May 27, 1922 to Francisco Morales and Isabela Ornelas.  She married Celestino B Sosa Sr on July 23, 1949 and together raised 8 children. Juanita loved being with her family, celebrating every life achievement with a big get together. Nothing made her happier then when her family, especially her children were close. She taught her children and grandchildren the importance of faith in God, and in taking care of one another. Juanita will be remembered forever by those who love her.

She is survived by one sister Francis Rincon of Blythe CA, 7 children Celestino Jr, Louisa, Nick, Joe, Gloria, Tony and Alfredo Sosa, multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is presented in death by husband Celestino, son Frank and grandson Shaun.

A Funeral Mass in her honor will be held on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Our lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church at 12pm. Family and friends are welcome to come on Wednesday from 10am-3pm to Griffin Funeral Home to pay respects. Please be advised that all government mandates are followed at the funeral home.
