June Pollard

Following a lengthy battle with cancer, June passed away on November 23, 2021, in Hobbs, New Mexico.

June was born on July 3, 1946 to Edwin and Adela Langfeldt in Neillsville, Wisconsin. She graduated from Loyal High School in 1964. She married a military man and lived in many different areas as military families often do.

She moved to Hobbs, New Mexico in 1980 where she continued to live the remainder of her life. She worked as a homemaker and took in babysitting to help supplement the household income, while being home full time to raise her children. June was most proud of the fact that at age 50 she went to college and received her bachelor’s degree in education.

June is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Vernon and Diane Pollard of Dumfries, Virginia; her daughter and son-in-law LaNita and Leslie Palmer of Hobbs, New Mexico; and her daughter and son-in-law Sonya and Jeffrey O’Brain of Hobbs, New Mexico. She is also survived by her grandchildren Andrew Palmer, Kevin Palmer both of Hobbs, New Mexico; Kyle Pollard of Woodbridge, Virginia; Sydney and Matt Ramey of Carlsbad, New Mexico; as well as Payton O’Brain and Ezrah Babb of Houston, Texas. She continued a close and loving relationship with her surviving siblings Vivian, Guy, and Gertrude from Wisconsin as well.

June was predeceased by her parents, her siblings Butch, Donna Mae, Joyce, Rosalee and her grandson Cody Pollard.

Per June’s request a private family service will be held at a later date in Hobbs, New Mexico.
