Kiwanis Renette Atkinson-Moore was born on April 2, 1970 to James Atkinson and Virdell Nix Henry in Hobbs, New Mexico. Both parents are deceased. A funeral service in her honor will be held on Friday, March 12 at 2pm at First United Methodist Church, with a viewing to be held on Thursday from 11-3pm at Griffin Funeral Home. Please be advised that the funeral home does follow all government directives and masks are required.

She attended schools in Hobbs and graduated from Hobbs High School in 1988. She was a loving, outgoing and caring person. She could always put a smile on anybody’s face.

Kiwanis’s profession was a Classification Director a Geo Group. She was there for 18 years.
