Lupita Gutierrez

Lupita Christina Gutierrez of Hobbs passed away August 21, 2021. She was born February 18, 1980, in Andrews, Texas to Linda Gutierrez Castaneda.  A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday August 31 at St. Claire Catholic Church in Eunice with a Graveside to follow at the Eunice Cemetery.

Christina worked at Home Depot and the Hobbs News Sun. She enjoyed going out of town with her kids. She was a very hard worker. She loves watching her kids play sports. She enjoyed her family time. She loved watching movies. She lived in Eunice, New Mexico until she turned 18, when she graduated from Eunice High School in 1998.

Christina will be so missed by family and friends. She left behind 4 kids, Bree White, Chase White, Christian White, and Sianna White all of Hobbs, NM. Grandson Prynston Swain of Hobbs, NM, Boyfriend Joseph Muela of Hobbs, Step-Father Tereso Castaneda of Eunice, NM, Sisters Suzie Gutierrez of Hobbs, NM, Maria Hernandez of Seminole, Texas, Brothers Randy Gutierrez of Conway Arkansas, Andres Castaneda of Hobbs, NM, and Silvano Castaneda of Eunice, NM she has numerous nieces and nephews.
