Miguel Ángel Rodríguez Sr
A proud server of our U.S Army and National Guard Armory with Honorable Discharge passed away Aug 25, 2021, at the age of 70. He was born in Ciudad Juárez Chihuahua México on October 8, 1950 to Jose Isabel Rodriguez and Lorenza Quintero. He lived in El Paso Texas prior to moving to Hobbs in 1978. He is proceeded in death by sister Guillermina Bumgardner and is survived by his life partner Teresa Colvin Rodriguez, sisters Concepcion Gonzalez, María Elena Vasquez, Bertha Alicia Vasquez, and Evangelina Rodriguez. By his children Miguel Ángel Rodríguez Jr of Cerritos, CA, Angie Rodríguez, and Javier Rodríguez of Hobbs, NM, grandchildren X’Andra Velasquez, CJ   Velasquez, Angel Payen, Mateo Payen, Gavin Rodríguez Calaway, Faith Rodriguez, Destiny Rodríguez, Adam Rodríguez, and Grace Rodríguez and Great grandson Nyjah Ray Ayala.
Miguel was a loving son, brother, father, uncle, grand/great grandfather. He was Master welder and blacksmith; he was very devoted to his faith and an active member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. He loved his family, and he provided the best way he could.  He tried the last few years of his life to mend broken chapters in his past life and came closer to his children. Miguel will be truly missed and forever be in our hearts.
